What are Monkey Nuts?

Monkey Nuts is the currency on the website. Rather than tokens or Credits on winmonkey.co.uk your cash is converted to Monkey Nuts.

Can I play for free?

All practice games are free of charge and there is no limit to the amount of times you can play. We recommend that you try out our games and read the rules so you understand the mechanics of skill gaming. You can also enter free member only competitions when available. Free competitions, and winners will be declared as usual. All other competitions will require you to purchase Monkey Nuts to play.

How much does it cost to enter a competition?

Each Monkey Nut costs from 10p to 15p depending on the bag size you purchase. Every competition will state the amount of Monkey Nuts required for you to enter.

How can I buy Monkey Nuts on WinMonkey?

You can buy bags of Monkey Nuts by clicking ‘Buy Nuts’ on the toolbar. Monkey Nuts can be purchased using a Credit or Debit Card. All transactions take place under secured SSL connection using 128 to 256 bit encryption. WinMonkey do not store your card details.

When will the Nuts appear on my account? Immediately after the transaction has been approved, your Monkey Nuts will appear in your account and will be available for use.

How long are Monkey Nuts valid for?

Monkey Nuts are valid for 6 months from your last purchase date

Can I get a refund for unused Nuts?

Purchased Monkey Nuts are non refundable and hence users should only buy as many nuts as they need for entering your chosen competitions on WinMonkey.co.uk .

How secure are your payment methods?

We use high-security encoding (SSL) to protect your payment details when processing the online payment.

Will you store my credit or debit card details?

No, we do not store your card details.

Why was my credit card denied?

Your credit card might have been denied for a number of reasons. First, please make sure that all the personal information you entered is correct and that it exactly matches the records on file with the credit card bank. You should also ensure that your card has not been reported stolen, and that your credit card balance is not at its limit.

Any credit card may also only be used by one winmonkey.com profile since multiple account are not allowed, so if the credit card has been used before in winmonkey.co.uk it will be denied as you try to use it. Read more about this in our T&C.

Why are all the competitions not free?

No competition or "Free prize draw" is free. You either have to sacrifice personal information or you have a competition fee. WinMonkey does not sell personal information, we don't sell advertising and competition entry fees allow us to buy the prizes and operate our business in the most transparent and open way.

Winmonkey charges?

Our aim is to provide a fully transparent site and create as many winners as possible. Our costs to run and provide the site are built into the entry cost for each competition. There are no further charges or recurring fees once you have entered and winners receive the prize delivered to their door. We generally build in 10-25% on top of the prize value to operate the competition and provide you with the best possible experience. We never sell your data and have no adverts on the site.
